What You Will Do:

What We Require:
Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Senior Developer role, with a proven track record in developing low-latency, Spring Boot-based, multi-threaded Java applications.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Apache Kafka is highly desirable. Prior exposure to C++ is advantageous. Essential skills include Maven, Git, and Docker.
Testing Expertise: Proficient in automated unit and integration testing, ensuring robustness and reliability in our solutions.
Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.

Role & Responsibilities:

As the Head of Business Development, you will:

• Lead the charge in expanding Nickel's investor base across Europe & the Middle East, focusing primarily on selling to family offices, UHNWI, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to establish new communication channels and leverage existing relationships with European and ME institutional allocators.
• Own and maintain a direct book of business, taking charge of sales strategy, relationship management, pipeline generation, and deal closures.
• Travel across the designated region for client meetings.

Qualifications:
• Proven track record of selling hedge funds to family offices and UHNWI is a must. Any experience of selling into pension funds, and endowments will be an advantage.
